Author, speaker & AI enablement

Most of the hard part isn’t the technology. It’s trust, habit, and everything that happens after the demo. I work with leadership and their teams across the whole arc: what’s worth doing, building it, and making it stick.

Author of “Working with AI” (#5 in Amazon’s AI & Automation category). Fourteen years of work across Australia, Canada, Chile and the US, and AI rollouts spanning 27 countries. Self-taught builder, no formal engineering background.

What I do

For CEOs, innovation, HR and ops leads who want AI used inside their teams, not just piloted. I work across the whole arc rather than handing over a deck and walking away.

01

Discovery & prioritisation

Sitting with the people who do the work, mapping where time actually goes, and scoring opportunities by impact, effort and risk before anything gets built.

What comes outA short list of things genuinely worth doing, with clear problem statements and success measures.

02

Delivery & governance

Building the systems. Agentic workflows, enrichment pipelines, retrieval systems that cite internal sources only, with human review gates, audit trails and sensible handling of PII from the start.

What comes outWorking tools, plus the guardrails that let people trust them.

03

Adoption & enablement

This is usually the part that decides whether any of it matters. Training, documentation, coaching, and building enough peer confidence that teams keep using the tools once I’m not in the room.

What comes outTeams who own their tools, and a repeatable way of doing the next one.

About

The hard part isn’t the technology.

I’ve spent fourteen years working across Australia, Canada, Chile and the US, most recently leading AI adoption for a global venture firm operating in 27 countries. I design and build AI systems, and then do the less glamorous work of getting people to trust and use them.

My approach is safety-first by default: governed pipelines, human-in-the-loop review, retrieval systems that only cite what the organisation actually knows. Not because governance is exciting, but because in regulated and data-sensitive environments it’s the only way anything ships.

Alongside that I wrote “Working with AI”, which reached #5 in Amazon’s AI & Automation category, and I speak on AI adoption, at HubSpot INBOUND, for YPO in Sydney, in Seoul, and in Amsterdam. I taught myself to build without a formal engineering background, which is probably why I care so much about making complex things feel simple.

The through-line: closing the gap between what AI can do and what people will actually let it do.
